Onion Baji


Ingredients:
  • 3 Big Onions
  • 1/2 cup Besan/ Gram flour/kadalamavu
  • 2tsp rice powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida (kaayam)
  • Salt -as required
  • Water-as required
  • Oil
Method:

Cut the onion thinly in round shape.
Mix all besan,rice powder,chilli powder,asafoetida and salt well.Add water little by little to form batter with out any lumps.The batter should be in medium consistency.
Dip each onion cuts in the batter and deep fry in oil until golden brown.
Serve hot.
