Aripathiri



Ingredients:
1 cup Rice powder(roasted)
1 cup water
Salt as required
2-3 drops oil (optional)

How to prepare:
Boil Water.Add enough water and 2-3 drops oil.Add rice powder slowly and stirring continuously.Switch off the stove and transfer the contents to a big vessel which is well enough to knead.Allow it to cool for a while and start kneading when it is warm enough.Knead well using both hands.The only you will get soft pathiris.Make lemon sized ball from the dough.

Method1 : using each ball make pathiris by pressing it in pathiri presser.Dust the both sides of made pathiris.After making all pathiris remove the dust by gently transferring each pathiri between palms.

Method 2: make pathiris in the same manner as we do it for chapati using chapati roller.
Heat a tawa on medium flame. When it is hot enough place pathiri on it.After few seconds you can see steam comes through it.Soon turned the pathiri.Again turned it and pathiri will puffs up.Remove it from the tawa.
No colour change for pathiris, it should remain white.
Serve with chicken/mutton curry.

Note: dip each pathiris in little coconut milk before serving.it tastes better.
