Hummus

Ingredients:

1/2 cup  White Chickpeas/ Channa
2tsp Thahina / sesame paste
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp Olive oil
3 garlic pods
Salt

How to prepare:

Soak  Chickpeas overnight/ minimum 6 hrs. Cook chickpeas by adding 1 cup water and one pinch salt.Keep the water used for cooking chickpeas for grinding
Using a blender grind cooked chickpeas,thahina,lemon juice,garlic and olive oil to a thick paste. If you need water you can use that used for cooking chickpeas. Dizzle some olive oil on the top and sprinkle little red chilli powder( optional).

Hummus is best  combination with Arabic bread( khubus).
